[sc34wg3] Topic Maps land and SAM land

Sam,

I don't think there is an issue here - my choice of words was intended
to help move an apparent block in understanding, and not as part of a
debate on the wording of the standard. We already know we need a
glossary ;-)

The editor's draft says:

"The metamodel used in this document is the same as that used by the XML
Information Set [infoset]. "

Not sure what "methodology" means in this context. "methodolody" =3D=3D =
"use
the same metamodel"?

Of course, after our discussion of "metamodel" and it's
[non-]obviousness, I went to the InfoSet specification to find a
definition of the term, and failed.

Out of curiousity, is the W3C InfoSet a data model?
