A first working draft of ISO 13250-5 Topic Maps - Compact Syntax (CTM) will
shortly be published in the SC34 document repository. In the meantime a copy
has been posted at

   http://www.ontopia.net/work/13250-6.pdf

Please review this draft and send your comments to this mailing list in
advance of the Montreal meeting (August 11-13). CTM will be the main topic
of discussion in Montreal, so please make your opinions known. The editors
are looking for as much feedback as possible on every aspect of this draft,
including the design, the grammar, the order of explication, the examples,
etc.

They are particularly interested in getting feedback from editors of related
standards (especially TMQL and TMCL) who will not be present in Montreal).

This draft is substantially complete, except for two major areas: templates
and deserialization. This draft uses a simple templating syntax as a
placeholder. Please feel free to post suggestions for a more expressive
and/or elegant syntax to the mailing list.

A CTM version of the Opera topic map has been posted at

Best regards,
