A node that is the endpoint of zero arcs is said to be "isolated." In a well-formed topic map graph, only "built-in" nodes (see Clause [parid0220] 4) can be isolated.

Isolated node has already been defined. Is there some reason why a
TM Application could not authorize non a priori (formerly built-in)
nodes to be isolated?
