Edge: The unreified connection between two nodes in an assertion.
Additional term to allow assertion of a relationship between two nodes in an assertion. Like the arcs (an arc and its mirror case) between two nodes in an assertion, it is unreified. Unlike an arc, however, it has no orientation, as in starting from one endpoint to another as do arcs. It also has no type.
