Optimal readability is warranted. Where is the difference between
(again, assuming that {} is replaced by .):

    o:John_Lennon
    isa person
    works-for(The-Beatles)
    o:homepage: <http://...> .

and
    o:John_Lennon
    isa person;
    works-for(The-Beatles);
    o:homepage <http://...> .

I do not understand why the semicolon adds a value. Really. If you
want to write cryptic topic maps, the semicolon does not change
anything.
