I have raised that possibility with the chairs but there hasn't been a
lot of discussion as of yet. From what little there has been, the
expense of getting a quorum of the TC present may be an issue.

True, but we need to also be mindful that we need enough space between
meetings in order to allow editors enough time to prepare new drafts
(and to absorb the expense of attending before setting out again).

One problem that is difficult to address is that several parts of our
work are so closely interrelated that work on one is not possible
without the others.

While our best work is done with everyone in attendance, with our
expanded range of meeting locations (which I personally think is a very
good thing), we need to recognize that not everyone will be able to
attend every meeting.

If we assume the following dates:

1. April - Oslo - Spring SC 34 plenary
2. August - Montreal
3. November - Leipzig

I am not sure where the Fall SC 34 plenary falls in that schedule and
allows time for new drafts.

Being mindful that with the increased interest in WG 1 matters that SC
34 plenaries are likely to be larger than they have been in the past.

Suggestions?

Hope you are having a great day!
