All,

Just to clarify, I've been in communication with Michel and
agreed that we would continue with further communication
regarding the details of the topicmaps.org website on the=20
SC34 list. I've read through Michel's proposal and have no=20
particular issues with it. I do have two suggestions that=20
I've forwarded on to Michel in response to his message to me:

  1. that the person doing the work you've set out for=20
me should be described by role, not name, and that
the role should be described as "archivist". You=20
would then assign me the duties of being the current
     archivist.

  2. that as versions of TM specifications are developed
and existing documents are rendered obsolete, those
documents should be passed to the achivist for proper
cataloguing, storage, and posting on the historical
     portion of the website.

This would put me both in a position of responsibility (as=20
archivist) and require that obsolete documents are passed
to me so that they can become part of the historical web pages.

My schedule right now is a bit crazy, but within the next week
or so things should even out and I'll begin to have some time
to start working more diligently on the web site.
