Though noting that Tim has his own biases (given the above document
is fairly straightforward, RFC 2396 is not exactly followed closely
on the Web, the RDF community has their own way of dealing with URIs,
etc.), that the above document carries no official weight, and what
the TAG decides and what the world does are two different things.
Long ago the URI discussions seem to have devolved into religion.
This is only natural in a discussion of epistemology, i.e., any
discussion of what something *means*.
